JUMBO PRO STEEL is a privately owned Romanian company founded in 2006. Main corporate purpose of the company is manufacturing of metal and metal parts. JUMBO PRO STEEL. has implemented and maintains a system of quality assurance according to SR EN ISO 9001-2001. The system of quality in JUMBO PRO STEEL focuses primarily on the clients' satisfaction to prevent defects or malfunctions in all the stages: design, manufacture, assembly and after-sale service.
Excepting the administrative stuff, all the employees are trained for ship building , ship repairing and other metal buildings, having different educational levels (technical school, high school, university). The most important weight in the structure on the company is represented by the welders and fitters and last but not least the grinders. The company JUMBO PRO STEEL plans and applies strategies to ensure the need of qualified staff, according to the development of the company. The employees are ensured with the possibility to achieve their personal and professional goals, participating in different training classes both on external levels ( welders, crane operators, stackers classes) and on internal levels ( technical and legal training).
Every year the company authorizes the welders in accordance with the international class registers (BV, GL, DNV, LR, ABS) according to the performed work, the cost of this authorizing being in JUMBO PRO STEEL’s account. The budget of the company also sustains the authorizing of the load binders, the crane operators and the electricians.
JUMBO PRO STEEL has been putting great effort into employing qualified stuff and the efforts to keep the personnel are sometimes greater, because the company invests in the personnel, who represents the main sustainer of the company strategy on the long term. The company is trying to develop and maintain stable relations among the employees, by achieving a real and efficient communication among the people working for the company, to improve their spirits, to help them achieve a better self knowledge and a better team work, which leads to a good cohesion among the employees.
At present JUMBO PRO STEEL has as main objective its consolidation on the Romanian market and increasing its activity on the international market both as services supplier in the naval field and as producer / shipbuilder. In this respect the company intends to invest in new equipments for a higher quality standard but also for professional training of the employees by organizing both internal and external courses. The company also intends to establish long term cooperation with shipyards of medium capacity in order to develop its ability to build small ships, mainly for external clients but also for internal ones. In order to achieve this objective the company will establish an investment plan and will reorganize the locations of its activities.
